Reliable Transportation for Veterans Because Every Mile Counts

Great Plains Veterans Services Center (GPVSC) Transportation Program is a dedicated Veteran transportation service operating across 45 rural counties across Montana. We provide safe, reliable, and no-cost rides to Veterans who need access to VA and VA authorized medical appointments.

We believe that no Veteran should be left without access to the care and resources they deserve. We are dedicated to bridging the transportation gap for rural Veterans, ensuring they can reach VA hospitals, clinics, and support services—wherever the road may lead.

Our Service Area

Many veterans in rural Montana live miles away from the nearest services. Without reliable transportation, access to medical care can become a challenge.

We’re here to make sure distance is never a barrier. That is why we offer:

  • Free rides for Veterans

  • Transportation to VA and VA authorized medical facilities

  • A network of Veteran- friendly drivers

Eligibility

  • Service is available for Veterans who have a VA authorized medical appointment

  • Must Provide 48 hours Notice

  • Veterans living within our service area

  • Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG) is a grant-based program that helps Veterans in highly rural areas travel to VA or VA-authorized healthcare facilities. This program provides grant funding to Veteran Service Organizations and State Veterans Service Agencies to provide transportation services in eligible counties.
